YouS Sufi est un artiste peintre Canadien d’origine marocaine. Les couleurs vives et les formes ondulées de sa culture d’enfance, ajoutées à son éducation française ont eu beaucoup d’influence sur son travail de dessinateur puis de peintre. Après ses études universitaires en Californie, il rejoins rapidement une entreprise de dessin au henné ou il format beaucoup d’artistes à cet art éphémère qui fut pour lui plus qu’une école du dessin. il aida à développer les outils adéquats pour ce nouveau style de dessin à pâte. En 2005, il quitta Los Angeles pour Toronto où il se consacra pleinement à sa passion pour la peinture à l’huile. Entre 2009 et 2012 il retrouve son atelier dans la campagne marocaine où il se reclus avec un rouleau de 50 mètres de toile. Aujourd’hui de retour au Canada, il poursuit sa passion de la peinture tout en préparant de nouvelles horizons pour son art au travers de livres d’art, de court-metrages d’animations.
